In an age where mass media promotes what is fake, along comes a couple who are not afraid to be real. Through the means of words and music, Darren and Margy Hughes minister in a way that meets people where they are. "We want to be examples to others of what God can do in and through a couple who have dedicated their lives solely to Him" shares Margy.

Darren and Margy dated while traveling extensively singing with the group, Heritage. After a few years of constant touring and becoming newly married in 2003, they felt the need to take time to focus on their marriage and become grounded in a church. The couple continue to sing, but are traveling less. This is allowing them to develop other areas of ministry such as writing and involvement in their home church, Central Baptist Church, where Darren now serves as one of the Pastors.

Music has affected their Christian walk so profoundly that they realize the power a song can have on a life. Influenced by many styles, but they purposefully allow what is in their hearts to create the song. Their musical roots are Southern Gospel, but their style has a heavy dose of Country mixed with Praise & Worship.

The evident love Darren and Margy have for God and for each other overflows to those they meet. Their goal is to share the love of Christ with those who need to know that a deity exists that loves them more than they could ever imagine. As Darren sums it up, "We don't want to just go sing, make everyone feel good, and leave; we want lives to be changed by God."
